Wendy Shay, also known as “Ghana Wake Up,” has said that before offering assistance to female musicians, male superstars want to have sex with them.
The Shay Gang boss revealed this startling information in an interview with Berla Mundi for TV3’s International Women’s Day special.

She claims that because men predominate in the entertainment industry, female musicians occasionally require the support of male musicians in order to release a hit song. Nevertheless, getting the support of some of these musicians can be challenging because many of them demand sex in exchange for a feature.
Wendy Shay observed that although these male musicians are frequently featured by up-and-coming male musicians, they prefer to go in front of mainstream or established female musicians when they approach them about a feature.
Women are largely disregarded in this industry, which is dominated by men. Women’s paths are paved with this rejection. When we seek a feature, our male counterparts reject us, according to Wendy Shay.
“Some of the things that women face and have to go through in the industry are that you see them feature a normal male upcoming artist, but an established female artist would like to have a feature from another male artiste and they want to be sexual,” the speaker continued.
