Parts of Ghana’s central and coastal regions are predicted to get thunderstorms today, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
The morning is expected to be gloomy with pockets of rain of varied intensities around the coast. As the day wears on, thunderstorms are predicted to form in the afternoon over portions of the coastal and middle sectors.
The impacted areas may see localised flooding and traffic problems as a result of these thunderstorms’ ability to bring strong winds and heavy rainfall.

Northern Ghana, on the other hand, is predicted to have sunny weather all day. The usually beautiful sky could take a turn for the worse in the evening when rain is possible over certain locations.
The public is advised by the Ghana Meteorological Agency to be informed about the most recent weather forecasts and take the appropriate safety precautions, especially if they reside in the middle and coastal regions.
