Nigerian Actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh, has strongly criticized Senior Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Citadel Global Community Church (formerly Latter Rain Church) for his controversial comments about the late singer MohBad.
During a sermon titled ‘Harvest’ to his congregation on Sunday September 24th, Bakare suggested that MohBad had suffered the consequences of his association with morally questionable individuals, which led to his untimely demise.
The pastor also questioned whether the name ‘Moh bad,’ which loosely translates to ‘I am bad’ in Yoruba, was a suitable name for anyone to bear.

In response to Bakare’s remarks, Dikeh took to Instagram to accuse him of hypocrisy.
She pointed out that Bakare had remained silent when his fellow colleagues were exposed for their involvement in “unholy $exual activities.” However, he suddenly found his voice to comment on the death of a young boy, attributing it to the boy’s actions.
Dikeh expressed her restraint in calling out Bakare more harshly, mentioning the anointing he carries, which has kept her from being more confrontational.
In her post, she wrote, “Dear Tunde: When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy sexual activities, we never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them. It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born, and you say ‘HE REAPED THE REWARD OF HIS ACTIONS.’ What Actions?
“Please, please, please KEEP THE SAME ENERGY with your corrupted colleagues as you just did today. It’s the anointing of God upon your head that’s making me not go off on this LOOSE COMMENT OF YOURS. I have learned over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, keep mute (DON’T TALK AT ALL). Preach your gospel and leave MohBad’s name out of your ministration.
