Trump launches his own mobile network with a $499 gold phone

The Trump Organization is making waves again, this time for entering the tech industry with the launch of a new mobile phone service and a luxury smartphone called the T1 Phone.

The initiative, which was announced on Monday from Trump Tower, is billed as a patriotic, high-value service for “real Americans.”

President Donald Trump and his sons have taken charge of this ambitious endeavor, launching Trump Mobile, a 5G wireless service that works with the nation’s primary carriers, AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

The 47 Plan, a $47.45 monthly membership honoring Trump’s status as both the 45th and potentially 47th president of the United States, is at the heart of this new telecom effort. This plan provides unlimited talk, text, and data, 20GB of high-speed data, and international calling to over 100 countries worldwide.

Customers will also benefit from added features such as roadside assistance, mental health and wellness telehealth services, and pharmaceutical discounts, which are all included in one monthly charge.

“We’re introducing an entire package that goes beyond mobile,” said Donald Trump Jr. during the press launch. “This is for real Americans who want true value from their carriers.”

The T1 Phone, a $499 handset branded in Trump’s honor, will accompany the mobile network. According to the company, the slim smartphone is gold-colored, created and manufactured in the United States, and runs Android 15.

The specifications include a 6.8-inch punch AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 256GB of storage. The phone is presently available for pre-order and is anticipated to delivery in August.

Despite competition from low-cost services such as Verizon’s Visible at $25 per month and T-Mobile’s $30 plans, the Trump Organization believes their unique features and strong branding will create a loyal user base.

Eric Trump, also an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, told Fox Business, “Trump Mobile is going to revolutionize how Americans think about mobile services. We’re solving real problems with better, safer solutions.”

This venture follows a long list of Trump-branded products, from MAGA hats and gold sneakers to Bible editions and trading cards. Last year alone, the former president reportedly earned over $10 million from branded merchandise, according to his latest financial disclosure filed with the Office of Government Ethics.

It remains unclear whether Donald Trump or his sons will actually use the T1 Phone, though the president has traditionally relied on an iPhone. When asked for comment, the Trump Organization did not immediately respond.
