Following his red card in the Champions League loss to Young Boys, Aaron Wan-UEFA Bissaka’s suspension has been extended by another match.

Manchester United lost a 2-1 lead against the Swiss side in their Champions League Group F opening, with the 23-year-old being sent off.
Wan-Bissaka was initially suspended for only Wednesday’s match against Villarreal.

However, his statutory one-match suspension for “rough play” has been doubled, and he will now miss their trip to Atalanta in October.
“Aaron gets a touch that’s too far, and he gets the ball, but he fo.” Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told manutd.com his thoughts on the decision to dismiss the defender.

It’s a further setback for United, who are already dealing with injuries to fellow defenders Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw, who both walked off in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa in the Premier League.

According to his manager, Maguire will be absent for “a few weeks,” while Shaw trained alone on Tuesday.
