On Sunday, Ukraine’s general staff confirmed that its forces carried out an attack on the Ryazan oil refinery, one of the four largest in Russia.

The strike resulted in explosions and fires in the targeted area, though Ukrainian authorities have not reported casualties or damage figures as of yet.

The Ryazan refinery, located in central Russia, plays a key role in the country’s oil production, making it a significant target for Ukrainian forces in their ongoing fight to disrupt Russia’s economic and military capabilities.
