Indian film, television, and stage actor Vikram Gokhale has been confirmed dead.

The actor according to reports died on Saturday, November 26, 2022, he has been in the hospital for some days now, admitted on 24th November in Pune where he passed away on 26 November 2022.

Shirish Yadkikar, PRO of Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, where the veteran actor was hospitalized, had earlier on Saturday shared an update on his health, saying that the actor’s health had “deteriorated” and that he was on life support.

The veteran film actor, Vikram Gokhale was noted for his roles in Marathi theatre, Hindi films, and television.

In February 2016, due to a throat ailment, Gokhale retired from stage activities, though he continued film work.

Gokhale was born in Pune, Bombay Presidency on 14 November 1945, and he died on November 26, 2022, at age 75.

Gokhale was also a social activist. His family’s charitable foundation provides financial support for disabled soldiers, Children of lepers, and education of orphan children.

In 1971, Vikram Gokhale made his film debut in Amitabh Bachchan’s Parwana. In 2010.

During his lengthy career, Vikram Gokhale appeared in both Marathi and Hindi films, including Amitabh Bachchan’s Agneepath and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, starring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

He has appeared in films such as Mission Mangal, Hichki, Aiyaari, Bang Bang!, De Dana Dan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa in recent years. He also appeared in several TV shows during his more than 40-year career.
