A woman in her 30s, along with a two-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl, are fighting for their lives after a shocking stabbing incident in Dagenham, East London, on the evening of October 25.
The Metropolitan Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder following the attack, which took place around 5:35 PM on First Avenue.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with multiple ambulances and police cars arriving at the scene. The victims were rushed to a major trauma center for urgent medical treatment.

While the girl’s injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening, the conditions of the woman and the boy remain unclear.
Witnesses reported a heavy police presence at the scene, with aerial footage showing a significant emergency response, including an air ambulance and several police vehicles.

Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford, who oversees policing in Barking and Dagenham, expressed his gratitude to the local community for their cooperation.
He described the attack as “truly shocking” and confirmed that the victims are believed to be known to the suspect.
“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident,” he stated, emphasizing the ongoing investigation.

A man was also taken to the hospital after feeling unwell at the scene. He has since been discharged into police custody.
