On Mother’s Day, Edward A. Kufuor, son of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, sent his late mother, Theresa Kufuor, a Mother’s Day greeting.
Edward wrote in his message how much he wished his mother was still with him to share this momentous day with.
Even after her death, he thanked her for the profound influence she had on his life and how it helped him become well-known.
Edward claimed that his mother is now resting in the arms of the Almighty God because of the admirable life she led.
“Happy Mother’s Day in Heaven, the first one… Oh, what I would give to have one more chance to offer you orchids and roses, hug you, and give you an annoying kiss all over your face.”I am living proof of your amazing efforts, mama, girlfriend. Rest in peace,” he wrote on X.
On Sunday, October 1, 2023, Theresa Kufuor, the former First Lady of Ghana, departed from this life. John Agyekum Kufuor, the second president of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, was married to the retired nurse and midwife.
