Following the news of Kamala Harris’s defeat in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, rapper Cardi B has written an emotional open letter to the Vice President, praising her strength and perseverance throughout the race.
The Grammy-winning artist, who had been one of Harris’s most vocal supporters, shared the letter on Instagram, sending a message of solidarity and admiration.
“To Vice President Kamala, no matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency, they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and integrity!” Cardi wrote, emphasizing Harris’s dedication and strength in the face of adversity.
Cardi went on to acknowledge the challenges Harris faced throughout the campaign, noting how the odds were stacked against her.
“You really put up a fight against all the odds that were already stacked against you! You never accepted defeat as an option, which says so much about your strength and about your heart,” the rapper added.
