Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, recently opened up about her complicated relationship with her famous father’s vast family.
In a candid interview with Teen Vogue, the 20-year-old, who is one of Musk’s 14 children from multiple relationships, revealed that she doesn’t even know the full extent of her father’s offspring, especially since new siblings have continued to come to light over the years.
When asked about her siblings, Wilson shared, “Well, I have four of them,” referring to Musk’s children with his first wife, Justine Wilson.
“I’m tied for oldest. But when we fought, it wasn’t really with words. There was a lot of… I have four siblings. We’re going to leave it at that, honey.”
Wilson went on to explain that she doesn’t stay updated on the growing number of Musk’s children. “I do not actually know how many siblings I have if you include half-siblings,” she admitted.
“That’s just a fun fact. It’s really good for two truths and a lie.”
She also mentioned that she found out about Musk’s three children with Shivon Zilis and the birth of his second child with Grimes through the media. “I had no idea before that.”
The interview revealed just how detached Wilson feels from her father’s side of the family. She noted that her relationship with Grimes, the mother of Musk’s other children, was strained for a time.
“For a time, me and Grimes were not really in communication because I wasn’t in communication with anyone in the family, which still holds true,” she explained.

Wilson, who transitioned from male to female and took her mother’s surname, also expressed a lack of interest in keeping up with the Musk family’s happenings.
“I don’t really give a f— what they do. This is not my problem, okay?” she said, explaining that her mom, who is divorced from Musk, feels the same way.
Musk’s family is complex, with multiple relationships and children spanning over two decades. His first child with Justine, Nevada Alexander, tragically passed away shortly after birth.
He later had five more children with her, twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
Musk also shares children with singer Grimes and his former assistant, Shivon Zilis, with more recent additions adding to the growing family dynamic.
