In a shocking case, two teachers at Nathaniel Greene Academy in Siloam, Georgia, have been arrested on charges of sexual misconduct involving the same male student.
Sherri Delle Mauldin, 60, and Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, are facing serious charges after both were accused of exploiting their positions as educators to engage in inappropriate sexual contact with the teen.
Mauldin, a former teacher at the K-12 Christian school, has been charged with improper sexual contact by an employee, aggravated child molestation, and statutory rape.
These offenses allegedly took place while Mauldin was employed at Nathaniel Greene Academy, a college preparatory school located about 80 miles east of Atlanta.
Just days before Mauldin’s arrest, Brown, a former teacher at the same school, was also taken into custody.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) confirmed that Brown had engaged in sexual contact with the same student, leading to her arrest on charges of improper sexual contact.

At the time of her arrest, Brown had been working at a preschool.
The victim, a male under the age of 16 at the time of the alleged offenses, has spoken out through his lawyer, Ashley Mitchell.
“I am relieved that these two women have been arrested and the crimes are being fully investigated,” the victim said.
“These women took advantage of their positions as my teachers. My school did not protect me as a child. I see that now, and I hope that these arrests will protect our community and children in it.”
Both women have been booked into the Greene County Jail, and the GBI investigation is ongoing.
This case has raised serious concerns about student safety in educational environments and has left the community in shock over the actions of trusted educators.
