Townflex Entertainment News Fameye, an award-winning Ghanaian musician who has not attended university, has revealed the only thing that could persuade him to do so.

When Doreen Avio asked him if he had any plans to further his education during a HITZ FM, Daybreak Hitz interview on Monday, December 5th, he gave a funny response.

According to the singer, who says he has no plans to attend university, he will gladly attend one should the likes of Oxford University or Legon reach out to him, but only if his demand is met.

He stated unequivocally that he will accept the terms of his University education only if the educational institution agrees to honor him, and that he will accept nothing less.

Fameye, who claimed that he is gaining more educational teachings from life lessons and does not need the University to achieve success, continued by pleading with the youth who want to enter the University level to do so and ignore his talks. Adding that education is extremely good.

Fameye continued in the interview by sharing his thoughts on Ghana’s economy, which he believes is not benefiting the citizens, given how expensive goods and services are in recent times.

Fameye told Doreen, that, some months ago, he used to spend GHC600 for fueling his car for two days, but in recent days he normally spends 2x, which is GHC1,200 for fuel every two days.

He also added that the popular life-saving food, beans popularly known as ‘Gob3’ is even no longer ‘food for the poor.’

He said “Gobɛ is not for poor people. But for some people who do not have [enough] money, it is their companion; I am also from the streets and I feel it.”

“I was like because of the economy, I now eat ‘Gobɛ’. Now even Gobɛ, when you have little money, you cannot buy it unless you buy an egg and add it to the gari and beans. But you need fried plantain too and other accompaniments to make it better,” he added.
