Kanye West appears to have reignited his feud with Taylor Swift. In a bold move, Kanye West aimed his sights at Taylor Swift while basking in the glow of his latest triumph on Spotify.

The 45-year-old rap artist didn’t mince words, sharing a screenshot from a tweet by Daily Loud proclaiming that he had “surpassed Taylor Swift as the top global artist on Spotify” on Tuesday.

Swift’s fans took to the platform, formerly known as Twitter, to express their disapproval of the Yeezy mogul’s actions.

“He knows she’s the one boosting his fame, that’s why he won’t stop mentioning her,” remarked one user.

“The audacity he has to constantly put himself in the spotlight is just mind-boggling,” chimed in another.

The feud between West and the 34-year-old songstress has been ongoing since 2009, when he infamously interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.

After Swift clinched the Best Female Artist Video award, West stormed the stage, declaring: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”

This incident etched itself into pop culture lore, igniting a public feud between West and Swift that would endure for over a decade.
