Ozzy Osbourne blasts Antisemite Kanye West: Legendary musician Ozzy Osbourne has publicly rebuked Kanye Ye West following reports that the rapper utilized one of his songs without authorization.

In a recent Instagram post, the iconic rocker voiced his frustration, revealing that he had previously declined West’s request to sample a rendition of the Black Sabbath classic “War Pigs” from the 1983 US Festival, yet West proceeded to use it anyway.

Expressing her disdain for West’s actions, the 75-year-old artist emphasized her stance, stating, ““@KAYNEWEST ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A [SECTION] OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘WAR PIG’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS. REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY. HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”

Following the rapper’s remarks in 2022, his Instagram account faced restrictions, and the contentious post was promptly removed. Moreover, West’s tweets were expunged from the Twitter (now X) platform due to policy breaches.

These incidents transpired in the wake of West’s controversial introduction of White Lives Matter apparel during Paris Fashion Week the same month.

In response, major entities like Adidas, GAP, Balenciaga, and Vogue swiftly severed ties with him, while talent agency CAA terminated their professional relationship.

Adding to the furor, West’s November 2023 surprise performance in Dubai featured offensive lyrics from his song “Vultures,” including, “How am I antisemitic? I just f—ed a Jewish b*tch.”

Two weeks later, West issued a public apology in Hebrew. “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outbursts caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” read his statement, which was shared via Instagram (and translated into English).

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future,” West continued. He added that being forgiven “is important to me” and that he is “committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
