Akon Defends Nick Cannon, Says Attending Kids’ Recitals Is for White Men

By Stermy 2 Min Read

Akon argues Nick Cannon to continue to have children and that he shouldn’t be concerned about missing a few recitals because, in his opinion, that is something that only white people care about.

Nick Cannon, who is a father of 12 and expecting another child, has Akon’s support.

According to Akon’s comment, it’s not a bad idea if Nick misses a recital of one of his children, stating that attending recitals for all of his children isn’t what will make him a better father.

During the interview, Zeze asked Akon if he sees a problem with Nick maybe being spread too thin as he has more and more children, particularly if this manifests in him possibly not being able to be there for all of them at critical occasions, such as a ballet recital.

In response to the issue, Akon stated that its no big deal since “that’s a white man thing,” adding, “Who gives a f*** about a recital?” He then goes on to describe what he considers to be the pillars of being a decent father, citing his own nine children as examples.

Akon’s response, on the other hand, drew the attention of some people who complimented him as well, because, according to Akon, who is also a father of nine children, he said as long as a guy can provide for his family and teach them core values/morals, all other minor things don’t really matter.

That’s his point of view even though not everyone agrees with him.

Akon also claims that if the baby moms are on board, it makes no difference. He has a point there; everyone seems to have an opinion on Nick Cannon’s loins but, in reality, the only people involved are him, his BMs, and the kids.
