Assin Central’s NPP representative Kennedy Agyapong has joined in on the conversation regarding the National Cathedral.
The MP is in favor of using public funds—in defiance of the President’s promise to God—to build the Cathedral.
He claims that despite the current state of the economy, this Cathedral is a good idea that must be completed.

The politician requested public funding from Ghanaians to build the cathedral, saying it would be a significant investment for the country once it is complete.
The MP advised Ghanaians to disregard the cost in his bid to secure the NPP nomination and run for president in 2024.
The Cathedral, according to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong will increase tourism and revenue.
And because of insufficient government funding, millions of Ghanaian cedis have been wasted.
