Amerado announces G.I.N.A, his first studio album

Buzzing Ghanaian rapper, Amerado announces G.I.N.A which happens to be the title of his upcoming studio album.

G.I.N.A which has its full meaning as ‘God Is Never Asleep’ album will be serving as the first official/debut studio album from the rapper after hitting the mainstream.

The rapper who is born with his legal name, Derrick Sarfo Kantanka made the announcement via Youtube as he released a short video clip to alert he has a musical project coming up.

Prior to the announcement, the rapper alerted fans on his social media handles that his next release was tagged G.I.N.A with many thinking it was also single music, probably a diss song to LJ (Lyrical Joe), but it turned out to be a studio album release instead.

As many of you are well aware, Amerado and his fellow rapper Lyrical Joe (LJ) have been making headlines for days due to the diss songs they have been releasing here and there while also defaming each other with their lyrical content.

It is now clear why Amerado waited months to respond to LJ after he dissed him; it is possible that the rapper chose to respond in a well-planned manner by seizing the chance and also releasing his album.

Amerado on 26th October 2022 released a seven-track EP called ‘Patience’ which featured Black Sherif, Benerl, Fameye, Shatta Wale, Kweku Flick, Ypee, and winners of his Selflessness challenge Kojo Luda, 4tune, Nbee, and Adomakye. It has gained over 50 million streams across all platforms.

Sharing the announcement video on his social media platforms, he posted with the caption;

“The only peaceful rest is to Rest In Peace (RIP)”. So far as we live, we will work with our gifts to entertain in many forms; Love, “vawulence”, collaboration and competition. Welcome to #GINA. Thank you, Ghana”

Amerado Gina Album Announcement: As it stands now, it is not yet made known how many songs are to be on the project as well as the date for release is also not been revealed.
