Military by Asake is the Nigerian singer’s first official song release for the year 2025, and fans adore it. The song, which was released without previous announcement on Wednesday, February 5, appears to be a direct response to criticism as well as a declaration of his artistic freedom.
True to his manner, he raps in Yoruba, demonstrating that he is unconcerned about what others say, reminding everyone that English isn’t his first language (Oyinbo ko oro l’enu mi), that he works hard, and that his accomplishments speak for themselves—despite his preference to maintain a low profile.
