Bawumia pays a visit to the ailing Yolo actor Drogba

Actor John Bredu Peasah, better known by his stage name Drogba, is now fighting a rare neurological condition called demyelination. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president of Ghana and the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), paid him a visit.

For the past 2.5 years, Drogba, who rose to stardom as a result of his role in the TV series Yolo, has been receiving treatment.

Following Drogba’s disclosure of his diagnosis on Friday, his sister Hannah Mensah verified this on Monday.

Drogba has been appealing with the public for financial support to pay for his escalating medical bills ever since he revealed his health problem.

Following his appeal, the Vice President paid him a visit. Dr. Bawumia and his assistants can be seen in Drogba’s living room in an internet video.
