M.anifest claims that this new fad has caused many musicians to cling to beef in an effort to attract more attention in the music industry and maintain their relevance.
Moreover, M.anifest also asserted that some types of beef have advantages that are bad while others attract advantages that are good.

The sensational Ghanaian rapper went on to claim to have seen musicians engage in beef with their fellow musicians in order to advance their brands and musical careers.
“We’ve just inherited the world…people really recognized the financial benefit of attention. Attention is the new currency, it is a new drive that everybody feeds on and beef is the easiest way to get attention”

Meanwhile, M.anifest stated during an exclusive discussion on BBC World News that he only gets into disagreements with institutions and not with his coworkers, adding that this occurs worldwide and not just in the music business.
“I have beefs with institutions (laughs)….that is life. It is a lot about different philosophical points of view, always going at each other whether it’s in literature, politics, religion, etc.”
