Karim Benzema Wins Ballon d'Or 2022: See Full List Of Winners

Real Madrid, and French striker Karim Benzema is in a comfortable lead as he was awarded as the winner of the 2022 Ballon d’Or awards.

The 2022 Ballon d’Or award came off on Monday, October 17, in Paris, France.

Winning the most coveted individual accolade in football is the ultimate acknowledgement for Karim Benzema’s outstanding performances with Real Madrid last season, as well as evidence that he is a player and a man transformed since his exile from the French national team due to a sextape scandal.

Benzemanow becomes the fifth French winner of the individual award since France football legend Zinedine Zidane won it for the first time in 1998.

Benzema beats the likes of Sadio Mane who came second, Kevin De Bruyne at the third position, Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah was voted fifth followed by Kylian Mbappe who came sixth,
