Ofori Atta has come under fire from media personality and contentious reggae musician Blakk Rasta for his refusal to resign as finance minister.

After the cedi’s loss against the dollar worsened, Ghanaians criticized Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.

Meanwhile, from the look of things, Ken doesn’t appear to have been affected by the remarks and criticism from Ghanaians, either.

Blakk Rasta is one of the concerned persons who has also denounced Ken Ofori Atta. The radio host claims that Ken Ofori Atta is not physically capable of holding a post but has steadfastly refused to resign.

Following the passage of E-Levy, which was meant to “rescue” the nation from approaching the IMF, Blakk Rasta continued to explain how the Finance Minister misled Ghanaians.

He continued by saying that the economy’s decline indicates that we are incapable of handling our own affairs.

“The shamelessness of a country. Before God and man, the sun, the mother, the uncle and the Holy Spirit, you swore that you will never go to the IMF as long as E-Levy was passed by some political jingoisms, you were able to pass the so-called E-Levy.

“After passing the demonic E-Levy, less than a month later, you are knocking on the doors of the so-called IMF. Now the IMF is playing politricks with you.

The IMF is giving you several ropes for you to hang your citizens. The IMF is dangling a carrot in front of you, and you are not seeing the ditch that is in front of you. What a country?”
