Ghanaian actress Madam Grace Omaboe, better known on stage as Maame Dokono, has discussed her biggest regret in an interview with Delay.
The combat veteran laments that she should have never have divorced her first husband. In addition, she claimed that she was too young to comprehend his compassion.
To that effect, a 2012 video of the actress discussing her numerous weddings is being widely distributed in the hopes that her message will go viral.

“I have been married twice, but I suffered very much during the last one. I always say that if I knew how my second marriage would have turned out, I would have stayed with my first husband,” Maame Dokono emphasized.
Moreover, Maame Dokono explained that she had separated from her first husband as a result of pressure from their arguments and her own ignorance.
Furthermore, she claimed that despite the fact that he is married, they are still friends and that he is always there for her.
Mame Dokono states that despite giving her every material comfort money could buy, her second husband did not treat her with respect.
“I always say that if I knew the intricacies of marriage that I know now, I wouldn’t have left him (her first husband).
After leaving these two marriages, I want to devote my life to helping underprivileged women and children.”
Before they ended their chat, Maame Dokono had some parting advice for Delay and all the lonely women out there.
To that effect, she highlighted, “Have patience, and marry a man who will appreciate you for who you are.” You’ve found a man who loves you. Someone who won’t try to trick you with his good looks and bank account.
“Communicate with him so that you can understand each other. Don’t be too proud. Time changes. Be humble and find a good man. Good men are scarce, so when you find one, cherish him like an egg.”
