The court decision came on December 2, just seven months after the pop icon finalized her divorce from actor and fitness trainer Sam Asghari.
Spears and Asghari, who tied the knot in a highly publicized ceremony in 2022, separated in July 2023 after 13 months of marriage.
Asghari, 30, filed for divorce in August, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite the emotional toll of their split, the couple’s parting was described as amicable, with no challenges to their prenuptial agreement.
A source close to the singer told People in May that Spears has been embracing her newfound freedom since the divorce.
In an Instagram post this October, the “Toxic” singer even shared a quirky video where she proudly announced that she had “married herself.”
