In a shocking turn of events, Tatahda Ferguson, the wife of Food Network host Darnell Ferguson, has filed for a temporary restraining order to safeguard herself and their three children.
The filing took place in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday, January 8, just a day before Darnell’s arrest.
Tatahda is seeking protection not only for herself but also for their children, requesting that Darnell stay away from her workplace, their home, and their kids’ school.
Additionally, she is pursuing temporary custody and child support.
The alleged incident occurred on January 2 when Tatahda claims Darnell entered her home without permission while she was with a male friend.

According to her account, the situation escalated as Darnell, upset over unanswered calls, allegedly damaged property and physically assaulted Tatahda.

She further claims that Darnell demanded to see her private parts, asserting ownership.
Darnell has entered a plea of not guilty in court regarding the criminal charges related to this incident. His bond was set at $10,000, and records indicate he posted bail on January 10, securing his release.
This is not the first time Tatahda has sought legal protection from her husband. In July 2023, she filed a separate restraining order request, alleging that Darnell reacted aggressively to her request for a divorce.
The previous case involved accusations of stalking, including placing a tracker on her car, confiscating her phone, and hiring a private investigator.
