Chance the Rapper and his estranged wife, Kirsten Corley, have reportedly reached a divorce settlement nearly nine months after they first announced their separation.
The couple, both 31, filed legal documents in Cook County, Illinois, confirming that they had come to an agreement to finalize their divorce.
Chance and Kirsten, who married in 2019 in Newport Beach, California, share two daughters—Kensli, 9, and Marli, 5.
Despite their separation, both parties have expressed a desire to resolve the matter amicably. Kirsten has stated that their relationship is “irretrievably broken” and confirmed they have been living separately for over six months.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kirsten noted that she believes the settlement is a “fair and equitable resolution,” though specific details about the terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
The divorce settlement follows a filing made by Kirsten just a month ago, and it comes nearly seven months after the couple first made their intentions to part ways public in April 2024.

In a joint statement issued at the time, Chance and Kirsten shared, “The two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways.
We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the same time we spent together.” The statement emphasized that the separation was mutual and respectful, focusing on the positive aspects of their shared past.
Chance and Kirsten’s relationship dates back to their childhood.
The couple began dating in 2013 when they were both in their late teens and welcomed their first daughter, Kensli, in 2015. After a brief breakup in 2016, the pair reconciled and married three years later.
As Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley move forward, they remain committed to co-parenting their daughters and maintaining a positive relationship for their family’s sake.
