Fans of Manchester United slam manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer For Benching Ronaldo Against Everton.
The decision by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to leave Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench for United’s visit to Everton at Old Trafford has created some enabling heat environment between the fans.
Despite Ronaldo’s return of five goals in five games since his emotional homecoming, United manager Jose Mourinho took the decision to reduce the talisman’s playing time.
The news that Ronaldo will only be on the bench against Rafa Benitez’s in-form Everton has been met with displeasure by the great majority of fans, who believe the club legend should be allowed to continue his torrid run.
‘You tried tp bench Ronaldo now and again, he’d expect it at 36,’ he stated in the BT Sport studio. Jermaine Jenas, a fellow commentator, was not so sure. ‘It doesn’t feel like the type of game where characters should be removed,’ he remarked.
