Ghana FA fine Oloboi Commodore Ghc2,000

Great Olympics Chief Executive Officer, Oloboi Commodore has been fined GHc2,000 for misconduct after violating the GFA Premier League Regulations.

He was charged after making assertions that, Accra Hearts of Oak are on top of the league with the assistance of referees.

The controversial administrator went ballistic on Accra-based radio station Happy FM and made unsubstantiated allegations against rival club Hearts of Oak ahead of the Accra derby which was played last Sunday.

In the commentary, Oloboi claimed the Phobians were at the summit of the Ghana Premier League table due to favours from referees.

The decision read as follows:

‘That a fine of GHc2,000 is hereby imposed on Oloboi Commbyt Olympics FC for the misconduct in accordance with Article 34(9) of the GFA Premier League Regulations and Article 6(1) of the GFA Disciplinaryone-match That Oloboibyby handed a one match suspension in accordance with Article 6(2)(a) of the GFA Disciplinary Code.

That Oloboi Commodore apologise within three (3) days use the same medium, apologise to the Referees of the GFA and the entire Association, failing which Oloboi Commodore shall serve a further 6 months ban.

Oloboi Commodore is warned that any future misconduct shall receive a more severe punishment.’’
