Ghanaian musician Fancy Gadam, whose real name is Mujahid Ahmed Bello, has spoken about the difficulties he faced when starting out in the music business.
He claims that it took him four years to complete his first album, which was released in 2010. At that time, Tamale, the capital of the Northern region, began to recognise him as a musician.
The performer revealed that he was devastated by the outcome of his first performance in the Upper West Region, namely in Washington, where a mere seventeen (17) people attended.
Despite the low attendance, he persisted and gave a performance that demonstrated his potential, hoping that those in attendance would tell others about it.
“My first show in the Upper West was a flop show,” he stated. “Because I was considering how big I am in the North.”
Since I live in Tamale, I can travel to these locations.

It doesn’t follow that you are big everywhere if you don’t know when you are big somewhere.
He went on, “I had about 17 people show up for my first show in the Upper West, which is in Washington, but I still performed. These statements were made by Fancy Gadam during a JoyPrime TV interview that GhanaWeb was watching.
