Equatorial Guinea is one of the party states to the AfCFTA. It is clear that intra-African commerce promotes increased value creation, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of manufactured and processed goods, according to the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).
Therefore, now is the right moment for African countries to address the current trade imbalances between producers and different stakeholders, such as buyers, processors, and traders over these two essential commodities, in addition to working towards becoming globally competitive in advanced coffee and cocoa processing.
