Ghanaian stars, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, DJ Switch Gh, and Kwame Yeboah make Ghana proud out there in Jamaica by winning in just needed 2021 edition of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA 2021).
The 39th IRAWMA ceremony was held yesterday, Sunday, May 16th, 2021, in Jamaica where the full list of winners were announced
And at the end of the awards night, it ended that Ghana managed to grabbed four wins which is a big plus for the country, the winners and including their fanbase.
Shatta Wale Wins IRAWMA 2021
- Ghaian Dancehall recording star, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale won the ‘Virtual Entertainer of The Year’ award. He became victorious after beating the likes of Beenie Man, Buju Banton, among others.
Sarkodie Wins IRAWMA 2021
- Ghana and Africa’s most decorated rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, aka Sarkodie of Sarkcess music also won the ‘Best Virtual Showcase/Concert of The Year‘ with his Black over Concert.
DJ Switch GH Wins IRAWMA 2021
- One of the youngest disc jockey’s we have in the country, Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh aka DJ Switch also emerged as the winner of the ‘Best Young Entertainer of The Year’ award.
Kwame Yeboah Wins IRAWMA 2021
- Ghanaian, musician, guitarist, keyboardist, producer, recording artiste and and music engineer who goes by the name Kwame Yeboah also emerged as the winner of the ‘Instrumentalist of The Year’.
