American rapper and record producer J. Cole is back again with new music “CLOUDS.”
Clouds by J. Cole was officially released via the rapper’s personal blog on Thursday, evening, February 22nd, 2025.
This brand new song happens to be Cole’s first release as he promised his fans he was ‘locked in’ also following the rapper’s 2024 silence in 2024 after the Drake and Kendrick Lamar lyrical battle.
In the song, J. Cole, who goes by his legal name Jermaine Lamarr, made reference to the United States of America president, Donald Trump’s assassination attempt, and billionaires who have been trying their best to hurt the masses.
The track also delves into themes of self-awareness, aging, societal shifts, and the artist’s ongoing struggle with purpose in an ever-changing world.

He also raps, “Before long, all the songs the whole world sings’ll be generated by latest of AI regimes / As all of our favorite artists erased by it scream.” Which is stark warning about artificial intelligence replacing human creativity is particularly poignant in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, where automation is becoming a growing concern.
