Mohammed Kudus, a midfielder from Ghana, has voiced his displeasure with the Black Stars’ most recent performance against Mozambique, which has put them in danger of losing the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Jordan Ayew’s two penalties, which he comfortably converted, gave Ghana a 2-0 lead.

But the Black Stars let in two late goals in injury time; the first came from a penalty awarded for a handball by Andre Ayew in the 91st minute, and the second came from a header from a corner that custodian Richard Ofori gave oddly.

Ghana is on the verge of elimination after the result on Monday night, as they have just two points from three games.

Kudus said that the players were the ones who caused the catastrophe when he spoke after the game.

“In games such as this, the minor details make all the difference. Maintain your concentration during the entire game. We conceded two soft goals; the same happened against Egypt. We simply became distracted in the last seconds of the match,” he remarked.

“We had an easy victory today. Simply maintain it that way until the game’s conclusion. We just made two really careless errors. He wiped tears off his face and remarked, “This game was too easy.”
