A Latina woman’s emotional TikTok video has gone viral as she reveals her deep regret over voting for former President Donald Trump, amid heightened fears surrounding immigration raids.
The video, filmed shortly after Trump’s second inauguration on January 20, 2025, shows the woman in tears as she grapples with the consequences of his latest immigration policies.
In the video, she explains how her family, along with many in her community, is terrified after the Trump administration enacted new executive orders focused on curbing illegal immigration.
These orders include ending birthright citizenship and ramping up deportations, leaving many undocumented immigrants feeling vulnerable.

“I hate that I voted for him. Now I’m so scared for my family and y’all’s families,” the woman says, her voice cracking with emotion.
“This is so crazy that we voted for Trump. We trusted him with the words that he promised us Latinos.”
As the camera pans to Trump speaking on TV, she continues, “That’s so crazy that starting next week, multiple cities will be hitting immigration.”
The woman highlights the fear gripping local communities as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) prepares to conduct raids. “

Where I work at, a lot of Latinos didn’t go to work because they’re afraid,” she adds. “That’s crazy because we have a living too.”
Her message resonates with many, but some of her followers have pointed out that Trump is simply following through on the promises made during his campaign.
In 2020, Trump gained significant support from Latino voters, securing 46% of the vote—a higher percentage than any other Republican presidential candidate.
