Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself embroiled in yet another legal quagmire, with fresh accusations being hurled his way.

In a revised complaint, Lil Rod, known legally as Rodney Jones, asserts that the music tycoon was implicated in a shooting incident at a recording studio, adding to the sexual assault allegations levied against Diddy just last week, as previously reported.

The latest lawsuit, filed on Monday, March 4, 2024, delves deeper into the purported 2022 altercation in Los Angeles, implicating Diddy and his son, Justin, at Chalice Recording Studio.

According to the amended lawsuit, a communication allegedly from the studio indicates that the shooting took place half a block away from Chalice, stemming from a robbery, with supporting police reports urged to await scrutiny before contributing to any defamation.

Initial claims state that Diddy and Justin engaged in a tense confrontation with an individual referred to as “G” in the studio restroom. Subsequently, upon their departure, Jones purportedly discovered “G” wounded on the bathroom floor, with allegations surfacing that Diddy instructed the producer to disavow any involvement. J

ones purportedly escorted “G” to the studio’s entrance, where an ambulance awaited. Justin refuted the allegations on February 27. A source familiar with the Los Angeles Police Department’s inquiry confirmed Diddy’s involvement in the investigation, revealing that the shooting did not occur in proximity to the studio, with legal actions against those involved underway.

Moreover, the amended complaint contends that a private investigator connected to Diddy attempted to coerce a close acquaintance of Jones into furnishing damaging information, casting Jones in a negative light.

In the initial lawsuit, Lil Rod accuses the deposed magnate of drugging, sex trafficking, coercion, and sexual harassment over a span of more than a year. Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on February 26, the voluminous complaint alleges Diddy’s mistreatment of Jones during their cohabitation and travels from September 2022 to November 2023, aimed at producing tracks for The Love Album: Off the Grid, which garnered a Grammy nomination.

Jones asserts the possession of numerous hours of incriminating video footage showcasing Diddy and his cohorts engaging in illicit activities. The lawsuit further presents screenshots from gatherings hosted by Diddy, allegedly featuring sex workers and underage females provided with spiked beverages at Diddy’s behest.

The lawsuit identifies Diddy’s son Justin, Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam, and Diddy’s chief of staff Kristina Khorram as defendants. Counsel for Jones characterizes Diddy’s associates as part of a “RICO enterprise,” complicit in Diddy’s transgressions.

These alleged transgressions include coercing Jones into procuring sex workers, participating in group sexual activities (involving Diddy’s son Justin), enduring persistent unwanted touching, involuntary drug use, and facing threats of bodily harm for non-compliance with Diddy’s demands.

The suit further alleges Diddy boasted about evading accountability for a 1999 shooting incident, letting rapper Shyne bear the blame as a demonstration of his influence.

Khorram, as per the filing, dismissed Jones’s grievances as “friendly horseplay,” attributing such behavior to Mr. Combs’s manner of expressing affection.

In addition to the sexual misconduct allegations, Jones contends he was never compensated for his contributions to The Love Album, allowing Diddy, Love Records, Motown Records, and Universal Music Group to profit unjustly.

Jones seeks $30 million in damages. This latest legal salvo against Diddy comes as no shock. In November, singer Cassie made analogous accusations against the disgraced magnate, alleging rape, sex trafficking, assault, and more.

Diddy reached an undisclosed settlement with Cassie following her allegations. Subsequently, three more women came forward with sexual assault claims against Diddy the following month.
