Sean Diddy Combs, the American rap maestro and multifaceted artist, is once again caught up in a legal tangle, facing a lawsuit for alleged s3xual assault by a former male collaborator.

In legal documents filed in the Southern District of New York on Monday, February 26th, 2024, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a one-time producer and videographer for Diddy, alleges that the rapper subjected him to repetitive acts of $3xual assault during their collaboration on Diddy’s recent album, spanning from September 2022 to November 2023.

Jones, the plaintiff, further contends that Diddy engaged in inappropri@te behavior, including unwanted touc-hing of $ensitive are-as, as a method to manipulate him into engaging in intim@te acts.

A particularly disturbing incident is detailed in the lawsuit, where a cousin of a female rapper allegedly attempted to engage in intim@te relations with Jones in the presence of the renowned “I’ll Be Missing You” singer.

Jones claims he was compelled to work in the confines of Combs’ bathroom while the artist showered in the n*de within a glass enclosure.

In his legal pursuit, Jones seeks a substantial $30 million in damages. The lawsuit implicates several other parties, including Combs’ son Justin, his chief of staff Kristina Khorram, Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam, various record labels, and unidentified individuals referred to as Jane and John Does.

Jones characterizes these entities collectively as a “RICO enterprise,” suggesting a violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act due to their alleged failure to adequately oversee and warn against Combs’ actions.

Responding to these serious allegations, Combs’ legal representative, Shawn Holley, rebuts Jones’ claims in a statement to Variety.

Holley labels Jones as a dishonest individual seeking an unwarranted payday through a $30 billion lawsuit, dismissing the events recounted as pure fiction without any basis in reality. Holley emphasizes the existence of substantial and irrefutable evidence contradicting Jones’ assertions.

“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 billion lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” she said. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

This legal dispute adds to a series of s3xual assault accusations against Combs, initiated by his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in November. Subsequent lawsuits within weeks alleged revenge porn and assault, with another woman filing a suit in December accusing Combs of rape in 2003.

In response to the mounting allegations, Combs publicly declared his innocence in December, asserting that he did not commit any of the reprehensible acts attributed to him.
