Morghan Medlock, Lil Wayne’s former chef, filed a lawsuit against the American rapper for terminating her without reason, and the rapper has finally fired back.
Morghan filed the lawsuit against the rapper on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, claiming that she was fired for allegedly missing her planned shift to be with her hospitalized 10-year-old son.
Morgan, according to sources, was on a trip with the rapper to Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend in his private plane when she received word that her 10-year-old son had been hospitalized in Los Angeles with a brain injury.

Medlock wanted to see her kid as soon as possible, but the suit claims that Weezy was delaying the trip by smoking on board.
Medlock, who wanted to board a separate aircraft to be with her injured son rather than being delayed by the rapper, claimed she told Wayne’s help what had happened and what her plans were, but they merely inquired if she was quitting despite knowing the scenario.
According to the lawsuit, the chef received a direct text message from the rapper that read, “Tell Chef Morghan this isn’t going to work.”
Medlock alleges that her firing violated California law, and she is demanding at least $500,000.
According to a statement released by the rapper’s team, addressing claims and the $500,000 lawsuit by former chef, the statement claimed taht Morgan was fired for a breach of privacy involving her social media posts.

Prior to the team’s response, there was discussion on the internet about the complaint, which claims Medlock was fired because she shared a video of her employment on social media. According to The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram, they obtained information that Medlock was fired due to privacy concerns.
However, an alleged Young Money executive informed The Neighborhood Talk that Medlock’s dismissal had nothing to do with her family emergency, but rather with a breach of privacy.
Morghan Medlock is Lil Wayne’s second former employee to sue him this year. Andrew Williams, the rapper’s former personal assistant, sued him in August after he was allegedly punched in the jaw during a fight aboard a private plane, which happened on June 10.
