Shortly after his court case, Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, better known as Medikal, announced his plans to continue his education at law school.
Medikal had previously pleaded guilty to brandishing weaponry on his social media platform and was fined GH3,600 in court.
This followed his five-day detention in police custody at the Ankaful Maximum Prison in the central area.

The prosecution was taken aback by the musician’s sudden change of plea, claiming they were unaware of it.
Medikal was fined GH3,600 after pleading guilty to the charges brought against him by the court.
After his run-in with the law, which showed him no mercy for his transgression, the celebrated musician has decided to pursue a career in law to become a lawyer.
Possibly to defend and punish others for their misdeeds.
Born with his legal name as Samuel Frimpong, rapper Medikal announced on his Twitter profile that he will be attending law school soon.
