Justin Cue, a local resident, described the terrifying moment: “I heard it pick up very quickly… debris started hitting the house, and then my window blew out.”

He recounted how his father lost consciousness when their roof collapsed, leaving them both shaken and injured.
Emergency responders were busy throughout the morning, rescuing individuals trapped in overturned mobile homes and assisting those stranded in vehicles due to flash flooding.
One woman was injured when an air conditioner fell during the storm, highlighting the dangers faced by many.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department (OCFD) reported extensive damage, with at least 54 structures sustaining minor harm, 43 suffering major damage, and 39 completely destroyed.
The storms also caused destruction to trees, power lines, and road signs.

Thousands of residents in Oklahoma and Texas are currently without power, as cleanup efforts begin.
