As members of the Tourism Manifesto Sub-Committee, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has solicited the experience of noted actors Prince David Osei and musician Okyeame Kwame.
Juliet Yaa Asantewaa Asante, the Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority (NFA), and Akwasi Agyemang, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), serve as the chairs of the subcommittee on tourism, arts, and culture.
Prominent members also comprise of Dr. Ama Boafo-Arthur, Prof. Issahatu Adam, Claudia Lumor, the creator of the Glitz Style Awards, and Catherine Abelema Afeku, a former Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.

The important appointment was announced in a formal statement that was signed by Vice President Dr. Bawumia’s communications director. Dr. Bawumia is the NPP’s current flagbearer.
“Following the announcement of the committee Chairperson for the 2024 Manifesto Committee, the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed the complete membership of the Manifesto Committee for the 2024 general elections.
“The flag bearer looks forward to the collaboration of all stakeholders as we endeavor to achieve a historic victory in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Okyeame Kwame is renowned for his skill as a musician and his commitment to advancing Ghanaian culture. He frequently uses his artistic creations to highlight the diversity of Ghanaian ancestry.
Under the direction of the designated subcommittee members, the team is prepared to contribute to the formulation of strategic initiatives targeted at promoting Ghana’s tourist, arts, and cultural sectors. He is well-known for his support of the arts and dedication to leveraging his platform for social effect.
