Real Madrid reportedly convened a crisis meeting on October 14 following serious allegations against star player Kylian Mbappé, who has been accused of rape and sexual harassment.
The French international vehemently denies the claims, which surfaced after a visit to Sweden last week.
During his trip from Wednesday to Friday, Mbappé stayed at the Bank Hotel in central Stockholm with friends.
On Monday, he publicly criticized a report from the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet as “fake news,” disputing allegations of an incident that supposedly occurred on Thursday evening at the hotel.
However, Swedish outlet Expressen later indicated that Mbappé himself is under investigation by the police, complicating the situation further.

French journalist Romain Molina confirmed that Real Madrid held a crisis meeting to discuss the allegations.
The club is set to return to La Liga action on Saturday against Celta Vigo, and it remains uncertain whether Mbappé will participate, as Real Madrid has yet to issue a public statement regarding the matter.
In a statement to AFP, Mbappé’s representatives denounced the accusations as “completely false and irresponsible.”
They expressed outrage over what they described as a “methodical destruction” of Mbappé’s image, announcing plans for legal action against those spreading the rumors.
According to Aftonbladet, investigators and a forensic unit were dispatched to the alleged crime scene on Monday.
The report suggests that the alarm over the alleged incident was raised when the woman sought medical care at a local hospital.
As the situation unfolds, the implications for Mbappé’s career and Real Madrid remain to be seen, with the football world closely monitoring developments in this high-profile case.
