Leny Yoro, a center back for Lille, is a target for Real Madrid, but the team is split on whether to make a summer move for him.
Yoro, who is only 18 years old and has already established himself as one of the best young defenders in Europe, has long been admired by Madrid, who are looking for a new center-back this summer.
Though ESPN claims the Spanish team has not yet chosen whether to sign the teenager at the end of the current campaign, earlier reports indicated Yoro is eager to join Madrid this summer.

This summer, Madrid is focusing its efforts on signing Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe; some members of the team think they should hold off on trying to get Yoro.
The clear worry, though, is that Yoro could be signed right away by a competitor who takes advantage of their hesitation. Regarded as serious contenders for the signature of the France Under-21 international are Chelsea and PSG.
Yoro’s contract with Lille expires in2025, therefore if he chooses not to sign an extension, Lille may try to cash in this summer rather than take the chance of letting him walk away for nothing in a year.
Yoro is anticipated to sign for a cost of €50 million (£43 million), although earlier reports that he would demand twice that amount.
Madrid had intended to wait until 2025 to rebuild their center-back group, but they may decide to make an offer this year out of concern that they may miss out on Yoro’s signature.
Yoro is rumoured to have spoken with a few Madrid players to inquire about life at the Santiago Bernabeu, but a summer transfer to Spain is far from guaranteed.
