Richarlison faces knee injury

Richarlison, a forward for Tottenham, will miss “three to four weeks” due to a knee injury, according to manager Ange Postecoglou.

The 26-year-old Brazilian sustained the injury during Spurs’ most recent 2-1 loss to Wolves.

Richarlison has made 22 appearances in the top level this season, scoring 10 goals.

“Richy is disappointed because he’s been a key contributor, but that has been how our season has gone,” Postecoglou stated.

Richarlison has scored nine goals in his last ten games.

Due to surgery on his hamstring this week, Ryan Sessegnon will miss the remainder of the season, and Tottenham has struggled with injuries in recent weeks. Postecoglou is currently missing defender Pedro Porro.

However, the fact that full-back Destiny Udogie returned to training this week should help them.

On Saturday, Tottenham, who now sit fifth in the Premier League and five points behind Aston Villa in fourth place, will play home to Crystal Palace.
