Antonio Rüdiger has been unveiled has been confirmed as the newest player to join the Spanish football club, Real Madrid.

German professional footballer, Rudiger’s move to Rela Madrid comes following his end of the contract with his former team, Chelsea.

It would be recalled that in one of our posts, we announced that Chelsea’s boss, Thomas Tuchel confirmed that Rudiger will be leaving the club as a free agent and will not be extending with the club again after his contract with the blues expired few months ago.

The Defender has however signed a four-year contract with the Spanish football club.

Rudiger Signed his four-year playing deal with Madrid at the clubs meeting room where he was accompanied by the president, Florentino Pérez.

Having signed the deal, the German centre-back was given a watch, a replica of the Santiago Bernabéu and a jersey printed with his name and the number 22.

Rudiger on his move to Madrid said he is very much happy for the special day for himself and also his family thanking his parents adding that he wouldn’t have been where he is now if not for them.

He again said that he will give everything for the club to try and win every possible title.

In his words, he said;

“This is a very special day for my family and for me. I’d like to thank my parents because without them, I never would have got here. They have always supported me and that’s been hugely important throughout my life. I’d also like to thank the president for giving me the chance to play for this great club. I can promise you that I’ll give my all for this club to win every possible trophy. Hala Madrid y nada más!”.
