Salah pays tribute to Sadio Mane after his move to Bayern Munich from Liverpool

Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has sent out an emotional message to his former teammate, Sadio Mane after his exit from Liverpool FC to Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane finalized hi move from Liverpool to FC Bayern on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

He signed a three-year contract with the German professional sports club based in Munich, Bavaria, in a deal worth £35.1m.

Mohamed Salah reacting to the news of his African brother leaving the club shared a touching message as a tribute to him.

Taking to his official Twitter account, he composed a tweed made up of 31-words expressing how he feels, the times they have spent together, and also wishing him well in his next adventure at his new team.

He made this tweet accompanied by photos of them both.

Salah wrote on Twitter; “It’s been quite a ride! Thank you for all the good times and I wish you all the best in your new adventure! You will be missed by all of us.”.

Mane’s contract with Bayern Munich will run from now until 30 June 2025.

Mane will be taking a £250,000 per-week deal, making him the highest-paid African player based on weekly salary followed by Mo Salah as of the time of this post.

Mane who was signed from Southampton in the summer of 2016, during his time at Liverpool Football Club made a total of 269 appearances for the club, out of which he delivered 120 goals, 38 assists.
