Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has spoken out about the ongoing comparisons between him and rapper Sarkodie, emphasizing that the two are distinct entities and should not be evaluated against each other.
During a recent radio interview, Shatta Wale directly addressed comments made by Ola Michael on the United Showbiz program, which had not sat well with him. He also took a lighthearted swipe at Sarkodie.
The particular remarks from Ola Michael, particularly his stance on Shatta Wale’s eligibility for a diplomatic passport, seemed to have struck a chord with the artiste.

In no uncertain terms, Shatta Wale asserted, “The moment you compare me to Sarkodie then you make him feel big. When I talk to him, he wants to rub shoulders with me. Where I have been, Sarkodie has never been there before.”

Expanding on this perspective, Shatta Wale acknowledged that many people hold the belief that Sarkodie holds a higher position in the music industry.
Nevertheless, he adamantly argued, “You people make it seem like Sarkodie is bigger than me. He can never be bigger than me in his life.”
This isn’t the first time Shatta Wale has publicly aired his views on Sarkodie’s stature in the music scene. The two artists have seemingly been in discord for some time, with their differing opinions on their positions within the industry.
