Nevertheless, despite the improved nature of this latest offer, it falls short of the Glazers’ valuation of the Red Devils, estimated at a staggering £6 billion.
Sheikh Jassim’s bid entails assuming complete control over the revered Old Trafford establishment, contrasting with Ratcliffe’s proposal, which aims to secure a commanding 69 percent stake.

Additionally, the Qatari bid reportedly includes substantial financial provisions earmarked for player recruitment and bolstering the club’s infrastructure. Initially, Ratcliffe, the INEOS chief, appeared to be leading the race to claim the throne of the illustrious 13-time Premier League champions.

Asked about the potential takeover and summer improvements, United boss Ten Hag said: “I think in this moment I don’t want to discuss that.
