Cori Broadus, daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, has shared the emotional news that she gave birth to her first child three months early.
The 25-year-old new mom revealed in a February 28 Instagram post that her baby girl arrived at just 25 weeks.
In her post, Broadus described the overwhelming emotions of the birth, saying, “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed.
But no matter what God always shows me that I’m His Child!”
She continued, expressing gratitude for her daughter’s health, adding, “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever!” Broadus thanked God for guiding her through the difficult experience despite the odds.
The young mom also shared that she underwent a cesarean section (C-section), which she referred to as a “success.” However, her path to the hospital wasn’t without complications.
On February 27, Broadus visited her doctors after experiencing what she initially thought was just a case of gas.

After examination, she was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, a life-threatening condition often considered a variant of preeclampsia.
HELLP syndrome can be deadly if left untreated, and Broadus explained that her doctors warned that if she had waited any longer, the situation could have worsened.
She advised her followers to “listen to your bodies” and be cautious of misinformation, mentioning the dangers of relying too much on platforms like TikTok for health advice.
Broadus’ family rallied around her, with her fiancé Wayne Deuce and mother Shante Broadus posting support on social media.
Shante, Snoop Dogg’s wife, commented on Cori’s Instagram post with, “My Berri 🙏🏽🙏🏽,” showing love for her daughter.
This new arrival marks Snoop Dogg’s eighth grandchild, joining his other grandchildren from his son Corde and Cordell.
Broadus’ journey to motherhood has been filled with challenges, but with the support of her family, she’s celebrating the safe arrival of her daughter.
