An Italian businessman has sued former Ghana Black Stars, AC Milan, and Inter Milan player, Sulley Muntari for owing him the sum of €97,320 which is equivalent to GHS 804,963, or $105,976.
The Italian businessman who is identified as Rodrigo Renato Gianno filed a lawsuit against the Accra Hearts Of Oak player at a High Court in Accra.
According to the writ and statement of claim were filed on March 21, 2022, by a lawyer for the businessman, Kwadwo Gyasi Ntrakwah of Ntrakwah and Co.

Mr Rodrigo claims that Sulley contracted him to book air tickets and hotel rooms for accommodation for his family and friends between 2015 and 2017.
Sulley Muntari Sued
He has dragged the midfielder to court demanding justice, a payment back of his €97,320 which he stated that Muntari has refused to pay
Ghanasoccernet’s post disclosed that the Italy-based businessman is currently in Ghana as we speak to see the matter in court through, and they also made it known that this is his second attempt to use the court of law to force the former Black Stars Player to pay him back his money.
The first time using the court was back in 2019, at an Italian court, the Court of Milan, and got judgment in his favour but for three years now the money hasn’t been paid.
Well, Rodrigo Renato Gianno is however hoping to get a court ruling to sell off properties belonging to the player to pay off his debts should he refuse to pay me the money he owed him as well as interest on the amount plus general damages for breach of contract.
The Accra Hearts Of Oak player is yet to respond to this suit filed against him.
